Yes! Learning from and with local and international network of rights advocates is at the heart of our efforts at the Human Rights Commission. In order to properly protect and model rights in Bermuda, we must work together to support best practice in all spheres of life.

Wherever possible we welcome the chance to host our colleagues from around the world to discuss governance and related human rights issues. We were thrilled to welcome His Excellency John Rankin and the Governor-Designate for the Cayman Islands, Anwar Choudhury.

The field of human rights is dynamic, intersectional and evolving all the time. The global network of human rights advocates – working to address racial justice, disability rights, xenophobia and migration matters, patriarchy and the multitude of social justice issues impacting members of society – serves as a resource and inspiration to inform our collective efforts here in Bermuda.
